Day 1: Aurora Lodge Viewing Tour
Fairbanks
The second-largest Alaskan city is a great place to view the Northern Lights, also called aurora borealis. Fairbanks was founded in 1901 by Captain E. T. Barnette and was named after Indiana politician and one-time U.S. vice president Charles Fairbanks. Points of interest within the city and nearby are Pioneer Park, Museum of the North, Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge, IceAlaska Ice Park, Santa Claus House, and Goldstream Dredge No. 8.
The long nights of Interior Alaska provide amazing opportunities viewing the northern lights.
For this tour you will go to one of the best Aurora Viewing Lodges in the area. This gives you a great chance to see the Northern Lights in comfort, warmth and safety.
The Adventure begins with a convenient pick up from your location inside the city limits of Fairbanks or North Pole.
Once in our spacious vans, we leave the city lights behind us, to travel to the Aurora viewing Lodge.
Once you arrive at the viewing area you will wait for “Lady Aurora” to show up while listening to our experienced tour guide’s stories and information.
Please understand that we cannot guarantee the sighting of the Northern Lights since it is a natural phenomena.

Order very good
Tour good
Nature never disappoints
Beautiful sky’s and wonderful cabin. We came for a quick trip from California and it was well worth it. Safe driver on snowy roads and wonder place with friendly owner opening his home to watch the sky from.
Great experience
Went to see the lights, pictures were taken by the staff but have not come thru, can you help the loge was nice and all the goodies provided was great
Northern Lights
It was a new experience for us Arizonans and though we didn’t see too many colors it was still nice to see and capture. It was very relaxing and a nice ambiance at the lodge. Thank you for a great experience. I’d love to go again to see about capturing more pictures of the northern lights
Amazing night
We were so lucky -- got to see the Lights "dance" for over 3 hours! Our tour guide, Bob, did a great job of explaining things and making sure we had the best views. It was nice to be at the Lodge to go inside and warm up when needed.
Excellent Experience!
I was shown amazing kindness. I have a speech and balance issues...and they were very accommodating to me! OH! And they delivered on their promise to provide an exceptional experience viewing the Aurora Borealis!
