Introduction:

Fairbanks

The second-largest Alaskan city is a great place to view the Northern Lights, also called aurora borealis. Fairbanks was founded in 1901 by Captain E. T. Barnette and was named after Indiana politician and one-time U.S. vice president Charles Fairbanks. Points of interest within the city and nearby are Pioneer Park, Museum of the North, Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge, IceAlaska Ice Park, Santa Claus House, and Goldstream Dredge No. 8.

Great experience!
The tour guide was very considerate. He visited the famous Arctic Circle, the Yukon River, and the Alaskan Oil Pipeline. He also took us to wait for the aurora. We were lucky enough to wait for a little bit of brilliance. It was worth it, but the distance is long. You need to evaluate your own situation before signing up. It would be better, and it is really very cold when it snows...

Worth it!
The weather was cloudy, so it was not easy to see the aurora. But the tour guide was very serious about looking for places to see. When we returned with a disappointed feeling, the tour guide took us to a place where we saw the aurora, which was really touching. I was moved by the aurora and also by the tour guide. Thank him for not giving up.

The view was a 10, using this company priceless!
Kevin was an outstanding guide. Having not only a biologist with such vast knowledge, but also someone who lives an outdoors life style and can give first hand knowledge and great stories! He worked hard to make our visit awesome and interesting. He made the trip The company- van was clean, ran well and provided a wonderful sack lunch with snacks and warm drinks. Communication was superb. Hotel curbside service was awesome. Getting home at 4 was so much easier just steps from our bed! Loved the fancy certificate! I would suggest bigger space (van) to move around, with all the winter gear and camera equipment was a bit of struggle getting in and out of van with our group (but i would go again with them in a heart beat!) Was 10 I have already suggested it to others.
