Day 1: Arrive Calgary

The itinerary provides airport pickup service. Please provide flight information at least 3 days in advance:
   1)   Complimentary airport pickup service at Calgary International Airport (YYC) is available at 10:00/12:00/14:00/16:00/18:00/20:00/22:00. Upon arrival, please proceed to the 【Westar Service Counter】located at Gate 5 on the Arrivals Level to confirm your pick-up information.


   2)   Hotel shuttle service is available for flights arriving between 6:00-9:00 AM and 22:00-23:00 PM. This complimentary service departs once every hour. If you are unable to take the designated shuttle, the travel agency will coordinate the next available shuttle for you according to the hotel shuttle availability.


   3)   Private car airport pick-up service is available on a Pre-paid basis: for flights arriving between 7:00-23:00. The first two passengers will be charged $90 CAD plus tax, and each additional passenger will be charged $20 CAD plus tax. Please be aware that there is a maximum of four people per order.

Located in the Canadian Rockies astride the Continental Divide along the border of British Columbia and Alberta, Canada, the ice field lies partly in the northwestern tip of Banff National Park and partly in the southern end of Jasper National Park.

Medicine Lake

Medicine Lake, also known as “the lake that disappears” is located 20 km southeast of the town of Jasper. Medicine lake is a 7 km long narrow lake that is formed by the Maligne River. Interesting enough, the lake loses water as it flows. Why is that you may ask? When the water is on its way to merge with the Athabasca river, it reaches the medicine lake area, and pools up to form the Lake over the largest inaccessible limestone cave system.

 
 

Maligne Lake

22km long, the majestic Maligne Lake is the second-largest natural lake in the Canadian Rockies. While its azure-blue waters can be cold for swimming, there are plenty of other activities to do in the Maligne Valley including hiking Bald and Opal Hills, biking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and boat tours to Spirit Island. If you are feeling exceptionally adventurous, the 44km Skyline Trail begins at Maligne Lake and finishes near the town of Jasper. Make sure to bring your camera, it's one of the most photogenic places in Jasper National Park!

Maligne Canyon

Shortly after, we will arrive at the world-famous [Maligne Lake] (Seasonal/*Alternative attraction: Pyramid Lake, Patricia Lake *) and take the 8 million Reader Digest subscribers voted the [Maligne Lake Cruise] as the "Best Boat Cruise in Canada" and access to [Spirit Island]. Next, we will have a lunch stop at [Maligne Lake Historical Chalet] (Optional lunch with additional charges, if less than 15pax for lunch booking, it may be replaced with a plate meal or self-choice lunch with soup, sandwich & dessert), then will visit [Maligne Canyon]. It is a great place to go if you want an adrenaline rush and adventure. The canyon contains some of the most impressive geological formations in the world. On the way back, you will relax in peace at the [Saskatchewan River Crossing] This spot is located just south of Icefield Avenue and offers stunning views of the Rocky Mountains, as well as peace & quiet.

Lake Louise is a hamlet in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, known for its turquoise, glacier-fed lake ringed by high peaks and overlooked by a stately chateau. Hiking trails wind up to the Lake Agnes Tea House for bird's-eye views. There's a canoe dock in summer, and a skating rink on the frozen lake in winter. The Lake Louise Ski Resort features a wildlife interpretive center at the top of a gondola.

In Winter (From Oct 15 to May 31 Next year), we will first stop by [Two Jack Lake] for photo taking then head to [Lake Minnewanka]. During winter, when water freezes and the bacteria feed expels methane gas, you may see the magical phenomena of icy bubbles at Lake Minnewanka. Then go to the famous [Vermilion Lake]. The hot springs at the bottom of the lake and the mist surrounding it reflect the majestic mountains making the lake a well-known photography spot. In Summer (From June 1 to Oct 14), we will visit [Moraine Lake] (As an alternative Attraction for Two Jack Lake, Lake Minnewanka & Vermilion Lake). Set in the rugged Valley of the [Ten Peaks], amazing colors create a unique appearance used on the Canadian dollar bill. 

[Johnston Canyon] Banff National Park's most popular hiking destination. In Winter, we take you into the spectacular frozen waterfalls. See the impressive lower falls and walk through a tunnel to get even closer to the falls. Enjoy Ice Walk (Free borrow of Rivet crampons) in the amazing Johnston Canyon. In Summer, this popular hiking spot takes you to stunning waterfalls. The trail will take you through open meadows and glacial lakes.

In the afternoon, the itinerary continues with a search for another enchanting wonderland in the Rocky Mountains: [Lake Louise]. Nestled against the [Victoria Glacier]In Winter, every year from January to April (subject to official opening dates), the grand Ice Magic Festival takes place here. Artists and ice enthusiasts from around the world gather to create a beautiful fairytale world through magnificent ice sculptures. Situated by the lakeshore, [the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise] resembles a scene from a painting, with snow-capped mountains and the icy lake reflecting each other. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the fun activity of snowshoeing (complimentary use snowshoe). This activity is weather-dependent and depends on the condition of the frozen lake.
