Introduction:

Tour Overview：

Drive south to the Shenandoah National Park area in Virginia. Then enter the Luray Cave (also known as Luray Cave) to experience the wonders of nature. In the afternoon, you will drive into the famous Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. The national park is part of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It runs from north to south, narrow and slender. There is only one road named "Skyline Drive" running through the north and south of the park. If you are lucky enough to catch the clouds descending, driving on the Skyline Mountain Road will give you a feeling of flying in the clouds. On the way, you will stop at the observation deck to overlook the beautiful natural scenery of the valley and the ups and downs of the mountains in the distance, which will naturally make you feel excited. At the same time, you will also arrange a relaxing mountain hike to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. It is a must-see tourist attraction in Virginia.

Itinerary:

Washington D.C. → Luray Caverns (Optional, 120 mins) → Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park (120 mins) → Washington D.C.

Notes:

1. As Skyline Drive runs through Shenandoah National Park, this tour will enter from the Thornton Gap park entrance in the south and exit via the Front Royal gate in the north. This is a one‑way drive lasting approximately 2 hours, and return to the starting point will not be possible upon tour completion.
2. This itinerary includes a scenic drive along mountain roads with stops for photos at the best roadside viewpoints—such as the Stone Man Trail (weather permitting)—and various other scenic spots along the way.
3. From mid‑October to mid‑November each year, traveling along Skyline Drive, you will admire the picturesque, vibrant autumn foliage of Shenandoah National Park. (Please note that actual views may vary subject to weather conditions.)
4. In case of adverse weather conditions inside the national park (such as heavy fog or rain), entry into the park will not be feasible.

4. Self-funded items in the itinerary;

5. Other expenses not listed in the fee inclusions.

Fuel Surcharge: USD 5/person/day for US tours; CAD 5/person/day for Canada tours. Payable to the guide on tour (not applicable on free days or airport transfer-only days).

1. If the weather condition, war, general strikes, and other unforeseen circumstances interrupt the journey, our company reserves the right to rearrange the journey without refunding the tour fee.

2. Cancellation & Re-schedule Policy:

a. More than 17 days prior to departure date (EST): Free cancellation with full refund. Please reconfirm the penalty for the added hotel or flight ticket.

b. Less than 16 days but 10 days prior to departure date (EST): 50% of total purchase amount can be refunded.

c. Less than 9 days prior to departure date (EST) or on departure day (EST): 100% penalty. No refund.

d. Additional hotel bookings before or after the tour as well as other services are subject to hotel cancellation policy to determine if a refund is possible.

e. If the guest quit during the trip or fails to participate in any itinerary due to personal reasons (no travel documents, late arrival, illness, accident, etc.), the paid tour fare will not be refunded, and no other services will be compensated.

It’s a nice trip!
It’s a nice trip! Johnny was our tour guide. We got picked up at the meeting point at 8PM. We went to Luray Caverns and Shenandoah, driving along the Skyline Drive!
