Day 1: San Francisco - Lake Tahoe
Relax after meeting you coach at a San Francisco hotel. It's all good as we cross the Sacramento River Delta to South Lake Tahoe on Highway 50 though the beautiful El Dorado National Forest. Along the way, your tour leader may share stories of native wildlife that thrives in the area and the historic California Gold Rush, which helped shaped the destiny of this area.
You'll arrive around noon in Stateline, Nevada, just blocks from South Lake Tahoe, California, all relaxed and raring to go! You’re on your own for accommodations and setting a weekend agenda limited only by your energy and imagination.

Arrive and drop off at the Lakeside Inn (a few blocks from South Lake Tahoe). If you are planning afternoon skiing, drop your luggage and make the short walk to the Gondola for Heavenly Mountain Ski Resort.

Day 2: Explore Lake Tahoe
Summer and Fall
You'll find great outdoor experiences at Heavenly Mountain Resort in the summer and fall. Ride the scenic gondola to the mountain top, fly across canyons on a zip line, ride the mountain's roller coaster, or scale the climbing wall. You may be drawn to the blue waters of the lake for an Emerald Bay cruise on the M.S. Dixie. If you are a golfer, you may discover your perfect swing on one of Lake Tahoe's dozens of courses. Lace up your hiking boots and roam some of the great trails in the area, including D.L. Bliss State Park, where you can take a selfie with the Balancing Rock.
Rent a kayak or paddleboard and motor around the lake on your own power. Want something more adventurous? Hook up to a parasail and get an exciting, high-energy experience over the water. Explore Vikingsholm Castle's outstanding Scandinavian architecture and scenic location. Or find some fun in the sun at popular Baldwin Beach.
Winter and Spring
During the snowy seasons, the area is winter wonderland. Lake Tahoe skiing at Heavenly and other resorts around the lake is world-class. You can enjoy Nordic skiing and other snow sports.
No matter the season, the exhilarating nightlife awaiting you at Lake Tahoe is an experience all to itself. Casinos in Stateline give you a chance to strike it rich at the slot machines or gaming tables -- or have a great time trying! You’ll enjoy great food at great restaurants and see top performers in action on concert stages.
Day 3: Lake Tahoe - San Francisco
If you've play hard, not to worry. You can sleep in Sunday because pickup is set for 3:30 p.m. You'll be on your own for a casual dinner during our stop on the way back to your hotel drop-off in San Francisco around 8:30 p.m., full of winning memories and a phone full of selfies and scenes from a fantastic weekend adventure.

* Our vehicles at this time do not have any restroom facilities. We do, however, make several stops throughout the tours and there will be opportunities for you to use the restroom.
* Please note that for your child's safety, we require you to bring a child safety seat or booster seat for all children under 8 years of age or 4' 9" in height, as dictated by California State Law. You will be required to bring your own child seat on all motor vehicle tours. Failure to provide a seat for your child will result in forfeit of your seats on the tour without a refund. Please also note that any children 12 years and older must have an adult ticket as they do not qualify for a child-priced ticket.
* Our luggage policy does NOT apply to our Lake Tahoe tours! However, please be courteous and keep in mind that we have limited storage space on our vehicles.
* We do have wheelchair-capable vehicles available – subject to availability. Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you are bringing a wheelchair on the tour or at the time of your booking so that we can make the appropriate arrangements.
* Items left in the vehicle are stored in a lost and found area for 30 days. If you left something on one of our tours, please give us a call office at 888-527-8585 to see if it has been found. Once you have confirmed with us that your item has been found by our staff and you are still in town, you can come by to pick up your item. Otherwise, we will ship almost any item to any destination within the U.S. for a flat fee of $25. Take Your Trip is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
