Day 1: Home - Yellowknife

Introduction:

Tour Overview:

Welcome to Yellowknife, the capital of Canada's Northwest Territories! We will pick you up with our complimentary 24-hour pick-up service from the Yellowknife Airport (YZF). Our tour guide will be wearing a red Canada goose jacket and holding a pick-up sign with your name on it. Shortly after, the tour guide will drop you off at your hotel to check in.

Yellowknife Town is one of the three major aurora viewing places in the world! It has a very special geographical location and natural conditions that allow the aurora to be seen approximately 240 days a year. When night falls, in order to stay away from the city's light pollution, we will drive to the Indian Hunting Tent Valley Camp. This special camp will provide hot drinks and snacks for guests. The guests will even have the opportunity to meet a native Indian hunter who will demonstrate their hunting methods and the wildlife they have caught. After the aurora appears, we will follow our guide to capture memorable photos which will be uploaded to the cloud for free downloads.

In the case of any heavy wind or snow, our experienced driver will take you to the lake or forest where it is also possible to see the aurora.

Day 3: Free time in Yellowknife - Aurora Viewing or Aurora Hunting

Introduction:

Tour Overview:

During the day you will enjoy free time in Yellowknife to explore the town or participate in local activities at your own expense.

When night falls, in order to avoid light pollution in the city, we will depart from the hotel at about 22:00 to the Tipi tent camp to capture the breathtaking aurora. There will be two experiences of camp and chasing the aurora light every night. The chasing light stops by the forests which are located by the lakes. Guests who do not want to chase the Aurora may choose to stay in the camp and wait for the aurora there instead.

Great Places for Free Activities: the tribal flag corridor next to the museum, the Frame Lake trail along the lake, and the Diamond Center to watch polished diamonds.

Food Recommendation (at your own expense): The hot and sour soup at the Gold Range is very delicious! In the early years, in order to welcome the Queen of England, they crafted special long spring rolls for her at the Prawn Fried Rice at Sushi Cafe.

Perfect Tour
It was an unforgettable experience. We felt how amazing Mother Nature was. The tour arrangement was excellent and staffs were awesome. Especially Amanda and Robin, they did a great job. My family had enjoyed every minute in Yellowknife.

Aurora watching is full of itinerary
During this four-day and three-night journey, I could see the aurora every night. I was lucky to have a critical strike, and the itinerary was well arranged.

Must see aurora once in a lifetime
As soon as I arrived at the airport, I saw the tour guide coming to pick me up, and I felt very relieved! The matching restaurants are also very close to the urban area, and you can go to the new city and the old city with a taxi tour! Every night there will be a shuttle bus to the hotel to pick up and drop off to Aurora Village. This time I was lucky to see it in three days! There are hot chocolate, hot tea, etc. to drink when resting in the tent area or in the lobby, so prepare carefully! When the aurora appears, the tour guide will also go to the tent area to inform, which is very considerate! If you want to see the aurora, I highly recommend this itinerary! !

I was able to see the aurora
I was able to watch the aurora for 3 days using this plan. I was really lucky. Looking at other customers posts, it seems that there was a time when bad weather continued for about 3 weeks and I couldn't see it, and my heart ached. We were able to pick you up from the airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to the Aurora Village.

Good service is reassuring
The tour guide at the airport showed up on time to pick up the plane. The time of the whole journey was confirmed clearly. In addition, because the return flight had been changing the time before departure, I kept contacting and revising the voucher. The reply speed was also very fast. Recommended
