Day 2: Toronto - Thousand Islands –Upper Canada Village – Montreal

Introduction:

Thousand Islands

This group of 1,864 islands are located in the St. Lawrence River on the United States-Canadian border and extend for approximately 50 miles. Thousand Islands, or 1,000 Islands, were formed nearly 12,000 years ago and discovered by Jacques Cartier with the St. Lawrence River in 1535. They were a popular vacation destination for many upper and middle class families, who often built homes and mansions there, during the late 19th Century and early 20th Century. The 27-mile Wolfe Island located in Ontario is the largest island. Notable sights are the Boldt Castle, Singer Castle, Cornwall Brothers Museum, Wellesley Island State Park, Thousand Islands National Park, Thousand Islands Bridge, Robert Moses State Park, Antique Boat Museum, Eel Bay, Rock Island Lighthouse and St. Lawrence statue.

Tour Overview:

Departing Toronto in the early morning for Thousand Island. Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing boat ride cruising along the St. Lawrence River.

 You will have a chance to view the world-famous Boldt Castle, Zavicon Island, and Millionaire’s Row. After lunch, you will then visit Upper Canada Village where Upper Canada Village endeavors to depict life in a rural English Canadian setting during the year 1866. Featured at the site are over 40 historical buildings, including several working mills and trade buildings. Farming is demonstrated through the growing, harvesting, or processing of heritage vegetables and livestock. Aspects of late 19th-century domestic arts, social life, music, religion, and politics are also discussed, interpreted, and demonstrated by staff dressed in clothing of the period. Then you will a chance to visit the Montreal Notre Dame Basilica, which was built in the Gothic Revival style, the church is highly decorated. The vaults are colored deep blue and decorated with golden stars, and the rest of the sanctuary is decorated in blues, azures, reds, purples, silver, and gold. After dinner, return to Montreal in the evening.

Day 3: Montreal – Quebec City

Introduction:

Tour Overview:

After breakfast, visit the largest and most famous church in North America - St. Joseph's Cathedral, one of the three major religious places in Quebec. After admiring the beautiful scenery of Mount Royal, go to the Maple Sugar Manor to learn about the collection and production process of maple sugar, and at the same time taste the traditional French lunch in the manor (in case of the maple sugar manor rest period, it will be changed to other places for lunch meal),. Then go to the oldest city in Canada, the only North American city with a city wall, the world cultural heritage --- Quebec City.

First board the observation deck on the 31st floor of the tallest building in the city, Marie Building, to watch the scenery of Quebec City, and then enter the ancient city of Quebec. The ancient city was built on a cliff. At night, you can even enjoy French dinner in a romantic atmosphere. After breakfast, head to Montreal's popular Old Port, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Montreal by climbing Le Grande Roue, a 60m-tall, slow-spinning wheel celebrating Montreal's 375th anniversary. Visitors can enjoy extraordinary views as far as 28 kilometers from Montreal and its surrounding areas. After lunch, head to Cuihu Mountain Resort, known as "Little Banff of the Orient". The French architectural color of Cuihu Mountain Town will make you feel as if you were in a European ancient town. The buildings in the town are full of European colors, full of French flavor, built along the mountain, and the buildings in the town, the beauty of the scenery is comparable to the "Banff" city of California.

Departing early morning to the world-renowned Niagara Falls via Downtown Toronto. Upon arrival, begin your Falls experience with an IMAX movie - Niagara: Miracles, Myths & Magic, to learn about the
shocking and exciting history of Niagara Falls. You will then go up the Skylon Tower for a panoramic view of the magnificent Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls. After lunch, ride on the famous Hornblower cruise (*seasonal) for a close-up view of the magnificent Falls. Pay a visit to the Niagara wine region for a taste test of our world-famous ice wine Group members staying at the Falls can continue to enjoy the waterfall view or stroll to the famous casino. Leave early in the morning and arrive in downtown Toronto to visit the Provincial Council (exterior), University of Toronto, Chinatown and take pictures. Then climb the CN Tower, a Toronto landmark located in the heart of Toronto. The tower's lookout offers panoramic views of Lake Ontario and the city. Then it's on to the brand new Little Canada Adventure. Here you get up close and personal with a microscopic "tour" of a condensed version of Canada's most iconic architecture, attractions and culture. This is a building that has taken nearly 10 years to build and will continue to build in miniature throughout Canada in the next five years. Then take a cruise on Lake Ontario (seasonal itinerary). After lunch, visit Casaroma Castle (exterior),  It will arrive at Toronto YYZ Airport in the evening. Please book a flight departing at 8:00 p.m. or later.
