Lombard Street

Tourists flock to see vehicles drive on San Francisco's most famous street that has a speed limit of just five miles per hour and eight hairpin turns in a one-block portion. While the steep windy roadway is sometimes called "The Crookedest Street in the World, it's not actually. However, it is a sight to see in the City by the Bay. Homes used in the "Real World: San Francisco" and Alfred Hitchcock's "Vertigo" are located on Lombard Street.

Golden Gate Bridge

The world-famous remarkable Art Deco reddish-orange suspension bridge that crosses the Golden Gate Strait is a symbol of San Francisco and one of the most photographed bridges in the world. The Golden Gate Bridge opened in 1937 after almost four years of construction and its main engineer Joseph Strauss wrote a poem entitled "A Mighty Task is Done" about its completion. The Golden Gate Bridge Pavilion opened in 2012 as an on-site visitor's center for the structure's 75th anniversary and the 8,981-foot bridge attracts approximately 12 million people annually.

Fisherman's Wharf

This San Francisco tourist hot spot is the perfect place to watch fisherman working on their boats, dine on fresh local seafood and fish, do some unique shopping and observe playful sea lions on nearby rocks. Located on the city's northern waterfront, Fisherman's Wharf grew rapidly in population during the 1800s thanks to the California Gold Rush and drew many Italian fisherman to its shores. The world-famous Southern California city is known for posh stores, luxury hotels, expensive homes and rich people. Beverly Hills was incorporated in 1914 two years after the construction of the renowned Beverly Hills Hotel began. Walk Of Fame

More than 2,500 Terrazzo and brass stars bearing the names of the entertainment industry's brightest acts are paved in the sidewalks running for 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in the Hollywood section of Los Angeles. The Hollywood Walk of Fame honors actors, musicians, directors, producers, broadcasters, music groups and fictional characters who have achieved a certain level of success in their careers. Griffith Observatory

This Los Angeles landmark that towers 1,134 feet above sea level atop Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park has had more than 75 million visitors since it opened in 1935. Griffith Observatory contains Samuel Oschin Planetarium, the 200-seat Leonard Nimov Event Horizon theater, the glass-walled Gottlieb Transit Corridor, public telescopes and numerous exhibits. The art deco observatory was closed in 2002 for a $93 million renovation and reopened in 2006. The site's Cafe at the End of the Universe is run by world-renowned chef Wolfgang Puck.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park

Disney's Animal Kingdom is a zoological theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida, near Orlando. Owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products division, it is the largest theme park in the world, covering 580 acres (230 ha).[2][3][4][5] The park opened on Earth Day, April 22, 1998, and was the fourth theme park built at the resort. Madame Tussauds Hollywood is a wax museum and tourist attraction located on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California. It is the ninth location for the Tussauds franchise, which was set up by sculptor Marie Tussaud, and is located just west of the TCL Chinese Theatre (formerly Grauman's). Madame Tussauds is owned and operated by Merlin Entertainments.

Rodeo Drive is a two-mile-long street, primarily in Beverly Hills, California, with its southern segment in the City of Los Angeles. Its southern terminus is at Beverly Drive, and its northern terminus is at its intersection with Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills. The name is most commonly used metonymically to refer to the three-block stretch of the street north of Wilshire Boulevard and south of Little Santa Monica Boulevard, which is known for its luxury goods stores.

Urban Light (2008) is a large-scale assemblage sculpture by Chris Burden located at the Wilshire Boulevard entrance to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The 2008 installation consists of restored street lamps from the 1920s and 1930s. Most of them once lit the Streets of Southern California.

The Farmers Market is an area of food stalls, sit-down eateries, prepared food vendors, and produce markets in Los Angeles, California. First opened in July 1934, it is also a historic Los Angeles landmark and it is a very big tourist attraction. The Farmers Market features more than 100 vendors, including ready-to-eat foods, grocers, and tourist shops, and is located just south of CBS Television City. Unlike most farmers' markets, which are held only at intervals, the Farmers' Market of Los Angeles is a permanent installation and is open seven days a week. The Griffith Observatory is a facility in Los Angeles, California, sitting on the south-facing slope of Mount Hollywood in Los Angeles' Griffith Park. It commands a view of the Los Angeles Basin, including Downtown Los Angeles to the southeast, Hollywood to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the southwest. The observatory is a popular tourist attraction with a close view of the Hollywood Sign and an extensive array of space and science-related displays. The Bradbury Building is an architectural landmark in downtown Los Angeles, California. Built in 1893, the five-story office building is best known for its extraordinary skylit atrium of access walkways, stairs and elevators, and their ornate ironwork. The building was commissioned by Los Angeles gold-mining millionaire Lewis L. Bradbury and constructed by draftsman George Wyman from the original design by Sumner Hunt. continues to produce gourmet premium chocolate for all of the Ethel M and Ethel's brand chocolates. The company distributes their products mainly via phone and internet on their website, although they also operate several retail outlets located in and around Las Vegas, Nevada. Also located at this plant are the Ethel M Botanical Cactus Gardens (which feature over 300 species of desert plants), and a small branch of M&M's World. A part of the factory is open to the public and visitors can take self-guided tours.

Tour Overview:

Early morning, we will head toward the M&M Chocolate factory and the Cactus Garden. At the chocolate factory you can taste some of the famous specialty chocolates. Take the included onsite tour and you can see the process of making chocolates. At the Cactus Garden you can take pictures of hundreds of cactus plants from all four US deserts. After lunch, we will go to Barstow Outlet for brand name shopping. In the early evening we will return to Los Angeles.
