Day 1: Vancouver - Grizzli Winery - Kalamalka Lake - Salmon Arm

Introduction:

Last Spike

The Last Spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was the ceremonial final spike driven into the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) at Craigellachie, British Columbia at 9:22 am on November 7, 1885. It was driven in by CPR railroad financier Donald Smith, marking the end of a saga of natural disasters, financial crises, and even rebellion that plagued Canada's first transcontinental railroad from its beginning.

Fraser Valley

The Fraser Valley is the region of the Fraser River basin in southwestern British Columbia downstream of the Fraser Canyon.

Kamloops

Kamloops is a Canadian city in British Columbia, where the North and South Thompson rivers meet. Sun Peaks Resort’s hiking trails, bike park and numerous ski runs lie to the northeast. Cougars and bears inhabit the British Columbia Wildlife Park east of town. West, above Kamloops Lake are clay hoodoos (or spires). The riverside Secwepemc Museum & Heritage Park features the remains of a 2,000-year-old village.

Tour Overview:

In the morning, we will pass through the grassland town of Merritt, which is mainly engaged in animal husbandry and forestry. Then we will visit the famous "VQA" precious winery, taste red and white wines, and buy world-famous Canadian ice wine. Then we will go to the Kalamalka Lake to appreciate the color of the lake that changes with the environment at any time, and feel the magic and charm of nature. Then we will drive to Salmon Arm.

Day 2: Salmon Arm - Banff National Park - Banff

Introduction:

Yoho National Park

Yoho National Park is in the Rocky Mountains, in eastern British Columbia, Canada. Waterfalls include Wapta Falls, on the Kicking Horse River, and towering Takakkaw Falls. A trail circles turquoise-coloured Emerald Lake, with a nearby natural stone bridge. The Lake O’Hara area contains alpine lakes, cliffs and wooded trails. Viewpoints overlook trains entering the Spiral Tunnels on Kicking Horse Pass.

Bow Falls

Bow Falls is a major waterfall on the Bow River, Alberta just before the junction of it and the Spray River. They are located near the Banff Springs Hotel and golf course on the left-hand side of River Road.

The falls are within walking distance of both Banff and the Banff Springs Hotel, so they are visited by many tourists despite their relatively small size.

Tour Overview:

This morning we will visit the famous "Last Spike" in the Pacific Railroad Memorial Park. Then we will pass through Yoho National Park and head to Vermilion Lake. The water of Vermilion Lake comes from the hot springs of the nearby Sulphur Mountain, so the color of the riverbed turns into cinnabar brown, making it one of the favorite shooting locations in Banff for photographers. Then we will go to the Bow Falls, one of the filming locations of the classic movie "The River Flows East" starring Marilyn Monroe. Take the Banff Mountain to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains. Finally, we will go to the Banff Upper Hot Springs (please bring your own swimsuit and towel, etc.) to help you wash away the fatigue of a day's journey.

Lake Louise

Lake Louise is a hamlet in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, known for its turquoise, glacier-fed lake ringed by high peaks and overlooked by a stately chateau.
