1. You will depart in the morning from Las Vegas, and heading across the Colorado River and through the Mojave Desert.

3. Enjoy the amazing views with your first stop at Mather Point
4. Continue on to Bright Angel Lodge area where you can visit Kolb Studio, the gift shop, and enjoy even more views near the beginning of Bright Angel Trail
5. After about 3 hours at Grand Canyon National Park, start your return trip to Las Vegas aboard your comfortable and relaxing transportation.
6. Depart the National Park, and continue your trip back to Las Vegas.

This Grand Canyon day trip was absolutely epic! Standing at the South Rim's edge watching layers of red rock stretch to infinity literally took my breath away. The scale of this natural wonder is mind-blowing - no picture can capture that feeling of awe. That moment seeing the Colorado River carving through the canyon? Pure magic!

The GC is definitely one of the world wonders not to be missed. Photos may look nice, or even great, but they don’t inspire and excite the way your eyes interpret your emotions when actually being there.
Does it stop on the Route 66 in some place? Just to take a picture?

2025-11-18 17:03Wear sensible shoes. The ground at the Grand Canyon is rough, rocky and uneven. It is important to wear sturdy, toe-covering shoes that can handle rough terrain. Sneakers or hiking boots are highly recommended.Boots or sturdy shoes are required (no open-toed shoes, sandals, high heels or flip-flops are permitted).
