Day 1: A Fun Snowshoe Tour in the Alaskan Outdoors
Escape into the serene beauty of a natural winter wonderland. A short distance from Alaska-Wildlife-Guide’s location is the Chena Lakes Recreation area with a multitude of trails beckoning. They will lead us over frozen lakes, and rivers and into the forest leaving behind the hectic city life.
Snowshoeing is a fun winter activity for the whole family. No special skills are required and learned very quickly. With a little luck, we may spot wildlife such as birds, snowshoe hare, fox or even a moose.
Just bring warm clothing and a sense for fun adventure.
Customized tours are possible.
To receive a full refund, travelers may cancel up to 48 hours before the experience start date in the local time zone. No refunds will be given after that time period.
if we must cancel the tour due to less than minimum capacity, dangerous weather conditions, or emergencies.

We are aware that sometimes unforeseen circumstances and illness can prevent our customers from taking their tour. For this reason, we highly recommend you buy travel insurance before your trip.
NO SHOWS/ UNUSED SERVICE/ LATE SHOW UP
Punctuality is extremely important when traveling with a group. Our waiting policy at pick-up is 15 minutes. If guests do not arrive within that time, it is considered a no-show and no refund will be given. This policy pertains to all our tours, including tours beginning from our property.
Any pre-booked/reserved service not checked-in for is considered a no-show and no refund will be issued.
Any reservation not used/ claimed is non-refundable.

Snow Shoe fun!
So My friend decided to bail on me last minute, which is totally fine because I feel like the group I was with was totally cool. The guide who brought us taught us about the winter storm weather and also ice overflow ( I think that’s the name of it when Water forms on top of the ice). I wish I didn’t have to go back to work right afterwards, or I would have had a cup of tea before running off. The walk itself was very relaxing but still adventurous at the same time
