Magical trip to victoria
A fabulous trip. Guide Leslie pointed out Vancouver city highlights on the way to a smooth ferry crossing to Vancouver Island and the Butchart gardens stunning even in the gentle rain. The hotel was on the water and it was an easy stroll on the path along the water to parliament buildings and restaurants and shopping. My room was beautiful and had a water view. Fog horns the next morning woke me up and I was afraid the float planes wouldn't fly but they did! After spending the day at the royal museum, shopping along Government street (monroe's bookstore) and tea at the empress, I headed back to Vancouver on a lovely 6:30 pm float plane as the sun was going down and the moon shining bright. I had no idea there were so many islands! Float plane ride is a must do!!!
Great Value & Perfect Overnight Excursion to Victoria
This was kind of a splurge for us, but overall we think it was a great value, and we were surprised at the quality of the hotel. Herman was a wonderful guide full of knowledge, very helpful, and just fun to spend the day with. If you have the chance, do this overnight tour rather than just the one day trip....it was so worth the extra time to explore.
Great experience
Beautiful Butchart Gardens, everyone shoul visit. Accommodation was fantastic and in a great location.
Don’t miss this!
Excellent hotel room. One of the best ever. Beautiful part of the world. Very welcoming. Perfect weather helps, but would be worth the trip anytime.
Don’t miss Victoria
You wouldn’t want to miss a trip to Victoria. Very different from Vancouver, the Burtchart Gardens are beautiful!
