Introduction:

Vancouver

Vancouver is a coastal seaport city in western Canada, located in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia. As the most populous city in the province, the 2016 censusrecorded 631,486 people in the city, up from 603,502 in 2011. The Greater Vancouver area had a population of 2,463,431 in 2016, making it the third-largest metropolitan area in Canada. Vancouver has the highest population density in Canada with over 5,400 people per square kilometre, which makes it the fifth-most densely populated city with over 250,000 residents in North America behind New York City, Guadalajara, San Francisco and Mexico City according to the 2011 census. Vancouver is one of the most ethnically and linguistically diverse cities in Canada according to that census; 52% of its residents have a first language other than English.48.9% have neither English nor French as their first language. Roughly 30% of the city's inhabitants are of Chinese heritage.

Seattle

The Pacific Northwest's largest city is easily recognizable by its landmark Space Needle and its nicknames include "The Emerald City," "Queen City," "Rain City" and "Jet City." Seattle located between Puget Sound and Lake Washington in the U.S. state of Washington was incorporated in 1869 and its past major industries included logging and ship building. It was named after Chief Sealth of the area's Native American Duwamish and Suquamish tribes. With a variety of Seattle tours, you can expect to see popular attractions such as the Space Needle, Columbia Center, Pike Place Market, Seattle Great Wheel, Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame, The Fremont Troll and Seattle Art Museum. With so many tours, attractions, activities, and fun things to do in Seattle, you can also join popular a Rocky Mountain tour from Seattle to Banff trip and Lake Louise to experience the best of the Rockies.

Canada Place

Located in the heart of Vancouver’s downtown harbour front, Canada Place is an iconic national landmark welcoming local residents, visitors and ships to the West Coast. Canada Place is a multi-use facility that includes FlyOver Canada, Vancouver Convention Centre East, Pan Pacific Hotel, Port Metro Vancouver cruise ship terminal, World Trade Centre office tower and VINCI Park parkade. Canada Place hosts Canada Day at Canada Place, the largest Canada Day celebration outside of Ottawa, and well as a number of other community events including National Aboriginal Day, the Canada Place Summer Series and Christmas at Canada Place.

Stanley park

Stanley Park is a 405-hectare (1,001-acre) public park that borders the downtown of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada and is mostly surrounded by waters of Burrard Inlet and English Bay.

The park has a long history and was one of the first areas to be explored in the city. The land was originally used by Indigenous peoples for thousands of years before British Columbia was colonized by the British during the 1858 Fraser Canyon Gold Rush. For many years after colonization, the future park with its abundant resources would also be home to Non-Indigenous settlers. The land was later turned into Vancouver's first park when the city incorporated in 1886. It was named after Lord Stanley, 16th Earl of Derby, a British politician who had recently been appointed Governor General.

Space Needle

A symbol of Seattle and a prominent point in its skyline, this famous 605-foot tall observation tower provides spectacular views of the metropolis, Mount Rainier, Cascade and Olympic mountains and Elliot Bay. The Space Needle was constructed in 1961 to be ready in time for Seattle to host the 1962 World's Fair. It was designed by hotel owner Edward E. Carlson and architect John Graham, Jr. The Space Needle has an observation deck that is 520 feet up as well as a revolving restaurant SkyCity, banquet facilities and a gift shop.
