Day 1: Grand Canyon via Sedona and Navajo Nation

Introduction:

Tour Overview:

Our friendly, informative guide will show you amazing and diverse scenery while explaining fascinating history on this spectacular one-day Grand Canyon tour.

We'll begin with a fully-narrated tour of the Arizona Sonora Desert on the way to your first stop of the day - Sedona's colorful Red Rock Country. You'll have time for a coffee break and a chance to get some photos of this fantastic area. Next, travel through scenic Oak Creek Canyon and then across the vast Navajo Indian Reservation.

You'll make a stop on the reservation at Cameron Trading Post (with the Painted Desert as your backdrop) to shop for beautiful Native American jewelry and crafts. Your early lunch stop will also be here. Try the Navajo Taco or some delicious Fry Bread!

Next, prepare to be amazed by the boundless wonders of the Grand Canyon from our favorite overlooks along Desert View Drive and take a short nature walk at your leisure. Stops will be made along the canyon's East and South rims within Grand Canyon National Park.

A brief stop will be made for dinner before your return to the Valley of the Sun - Phoenix.

This is by far our most popular trip - allowing you to see the diversity of Arizona's geography.

This tour drives through scenic Sedona area, allows for brief disembark.

Me and my family were picked up on time. The tour guide Wayne was a very nice man and knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area, the plants, wildlife, etc. He got my autistic daughter to smile multiple times which can be a cha llenge at times. The whole day went smoothly and the views were amazing. I would 100% recommend this tour for anyone interested.
