Day 1: 2 Hour Antelope Canyon Photo Excursion
Lake Powell
This 186-mile long stunning crystal blue lake between Utah and Arizona is visited by more than two million people annually as part of Glen Canyon Recreation Area. Lake Powell is the second largest man-made lake in the United States, was produced by the flooding of Glen Canyon from the Glen Canyon Dam beginning in the 1960s and named after the Colorado River's 1869 explorer John Powell. Miles of sandy beaches, colorful red-rock formations, countless activities and more than 90 canyons make this site a top vacation destination. Fodor's Travel named the lake one of "The World's 20 Most Beautiful Lakes" in 2013.
Antelope Canyon
Antelope Canyon, located in the heart of Arizona’s Navajo land, is a breathtaking slot canyon known for its stunning, otherworldly beauty. Carved by centuries of flash floods, the canyon features narrow passageways and dramatic, wave-like rock formations that appear to dance with light. Visitors are captivated by the play of sunlight filtering through the canyon’s curves, creating vibrant orange, red, and purple hues on the canyon walls. The canyon is divided into two sections, Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon, each offering a unique experience, with the Upper being more accessible and the Lower providing a more adventurous trek. A guided tour is required, ensuring both safety and an in-depth understanding of this natural wonder’s history and geology.
This isn’t your typical boat ride. Forget the large crowds on enclosed boats. We use open bow boats and limit our passenger capacity to facilitate comfort which allows you maximum exposure of panoramic views. Our 2-hour photo excursion allows you to capture the scenic walls of Antelope Canyon, Glenn Canyon Dam, & Wahweap Bay. Your pics and footage are sure to stand out on your social platforms! During the warmer months, June – September, feel free to bring a towel and come prepared to take a quick swim while in Antelope Canyon. Passengers can expect friendly interaction with our captains who will help you take incredible photos… they might even let you choose the playlist.
Our US Coastguard licensed captains have over 40 years of combined experience boating on Lake Powell and are prepared to show you the lake from a perspective that only years of experience offers. In addition to being licensed, insured, and permitted by the National Park Service, each of our captains maintains certifications in USA Water Sports instruction, CPR, and First Aid.

Absolutely soul stirring experience on the boat! What a stunning historical sailing thru the Antelopecanyon. The red walls of the canyon add a mesmerizing view. Conan our boat captain was full of knowledge and the highlight was him playing the flute on a still boat at the canyon!!! Gave me goosebumps just listening to him

Just do it!
Wonderful boat ride today with Lans who had lots of interesting info on the area. We only had two other folks on the tour so very comfortable and spacious. Lans even took pictures of us and sent them after the tour. Thanks Lans for a special morning.
Great time by all
Definitely was worth the money spent - our guide was excellent pointing out various spots on the lake and in the canyon. He took time to take photos of everyone as well giving us historical information about the early explorers in the area.
Very nice memory of our road trip.
Very nice moment, beautiful scenery, we approached the dam and stroll in the Antelope Canyon. Conan our guide was very friendly. We were able to swim twice. Comfortable boat, plus there were only four of us. With the air of speed we could withstand the heat very well. I recommend.
